Brett K. Miller is a Los Angeles native. Born in Lynnwood, CA and raised in Glendale, CA. After graduating from Glendale High School, Brett was offered a football scholarship to the University of Iowa. While at U of I, Brett led the Hawkeyes to the Big 10 Championship and came back out west to play in the Rose Bowl. He was Co-Captain of the squad his senior year and selected to the All Big 10 team. Following his senior season Brett was off to Japan to play in the Japan Bowl All Star game. Soon after, he was drafted in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons. After a 6 year stay there, he was traded to the San Diego Chargers and was next traded to the New York Jets for the final 3 seasons of his 10 year NFL career. Brett was named the strongest man in the NFL by Sport Magazine in 1986.
While with the NY Jets, Brett began working in the broadcast field doing remote broadcasts of the NFL playoffs. After retiring from the NFL, Brett has had a successful career as a sports broadcaster, actor and enjoyed a successful career in television and film production.
Brett has been seen in numerous productions ranging from McDonalds commercials to the Emmy Award winning ‘Frasier’. He wrote, produced and was the lead in the television show ‘The Pit’ for FX. He also produced and starred in the film, ‘The Bermuda Triangle Incident’ (www.thebermudatriangleincident.com). He currently has three television shows in development.
In 2008, he re-entered the sports world as a Sports Anchor for KTLA in Los Angeles, allowing him to blend his passion for creativity, writing, and television with his love of sports.
